Plug for K class turret

The following is a pictorial of a plug made for a turrett for the german light cruiser Karlsruhe

This first picture is of the first of the finishing passes. If anyone has any hints for getting better surfaces on off angle surfaces (E.G. 50 Degrees off the vertical) please let me know

More on the first finishing pass

Finishing in the other direction. the surface is looking rather good on some of the 10 Degree surfaces

Here is the finished product after some wet sanding/polishing with 320 followed by 400 grit paper

Here I am just getting ready to make a mold once the PVA dries.

So there you have it. Neat eh?
